The cost for all rooms is:
Double occupancy £90
Single occupancy £60
Additional for child bed/chair £15
We normally require a minimum stay of 2 nights at weekends and bank holidays. A 10% discount is offered for stays of 3 nights or more. Babies under 2 can use a travel cot free of charge.
Packed lunches are available on request with advance notice at £5 per person including drink.
A taxi to/from Abergavenny station may be arranged in advance.
Payment is accepted in cash, cheque or bank transfer. A deposit of £25 is payable on booking for one night, £50 for more than one night. Cheques payable to “AJ Stedman” should be sent to:

We are happy to take reservations by e-mail or phone. We may not always be able to make an immediate response to your enquiry but if you leave a message we will endeavour to get back to you within 24 hours.
Non-UK guests can pay using PayPal although there is a £3 administration charge for this due to the additional costs involved. Our PayPal account is firstname.lastname@example.org
The calendar below shows where there is at least one room available.
We ask for a deposit payable on booking our rooms. This will be fully refunded if a cancellation is made at least seven days before the date of arrival. If the booking is cancelled less than seven days before the date of arrival, the deposit will only be refunded if the room is subsequently let to someone else. If we receive less than 48 hours notice of cancellation, guests will be liable to pay the whole price of the room. If there is a genuine reason why the visit has to be postponed, subject to agreement with us, we will retain the deposit for a future stay.
At the request of Visit Wales we ask you to sign a registration form on arrival. We retain the registration cards with your contact details until the accountant has seen the evidence required for tax purposes in any given tax year. These are securely stored for five years. The Home office requests passport information and would only use it to calculate overseas visitor statistics, although this is rarely requested.
We keep your contact details on a spreadsheet on our password-protected computer, and linked to secure cloud storage, as we need to access it when away from home. No third party, other than the accountant, has access to this at any time. The accountant requires payment information annually and prefers it in spreadsheet format.
We never share any contact details with a third party. We are totally independent of booking agents, Trip Advisor membership or any other third party agents. Although we are listed on Visit Wales and Brecon Beacons Tourism sites, we do not share guest information at any time.
Credit/debit card payments: our simple iZettle system only accepts cards used in person, not over the telephone, so guests never share card details with us. Receipts are emailed to you directly if requested; we do not retain any card information other than the amount that is credited to our bank account.
